Getting ready for spring, and covering Gods earth

Thease cabbages made it through the frost so  I gave them all a lil compost, manua
a covering of leaves and wood chips

Working the soil, so I wont have to worry about it all summer.En Sha Allah
Put down compost, manure, leaves, and then givin everthing a top cover of wood chips
This brocoli made it through the frost also So giivng it the same thing
                                                                    And the Garlic
I took the cover off the hoop house today and gave all the plants under there the same treatment...wheeew your sister has been working but en sha Allah it will be worth it because the wood chips as a top cover keeps the soil tender so it dosent cake up and get hard and feeds the ground
One of The best things I have learned to do, All Praise is due to Allah!.. is to respect the land that God has given us, and most of all, learn from the mistakes that we have made in robbing the land of its nutrients and top soil. When you look at nature; the „order and how‟ of which God grows ?all? things--, He keeps the soil covered, using no tilling or fertilizing. And En- Sha ?Allah. Yet, look around and observe everything in its season ?sprout ?forth?, come up; beautifully and lush. This is because Allah keeps the soil covered and protected. If you go into the forest and pull back the covering of fallen leaves and dead branches, underneath it, you will find the most healthy and luscious soil. Much love see you again soon
