ASA ,Good to see you?En Sha Allah going to dry some tomatoes today

APDTA  ,I had to pick everything that looks like it is about to turn red we have that storm Debby, that looks like it might be passing us,(I pray not to close) Anyway I  thought I would go and pick up all that was lose outside,  as well as harvest all that will be red in the next day or tow

  This was another nice little harvest of tomatoes, and I'm trying  to keep up with what to do with them
                I put them in the window the  green ones and they will  turn ripe in 1or 2 days

 These are some I put in yesterday and I'm going to slice,and season them with garlic,oregano, basil,and seasoning salt and then put into the dehy-drator and dry out

                                        This dehy-drator has four shelves  I'm going to do all four ,

 Only this is how far I was when I thought of taking the pictures to add to the blog..lol en sha Allah
                                                           I will show you the finished product in next blog.

 APDTA I have been getting a lot of string beans, have frozen some and will cook these today...lol

                                         This is the basil I picked to put on the tomatoes

 From the strawberries I'm making smoothies,OK Ill be honest? atlest  that  was my first intention..lol
only they didn't make it, I had them as a snack as I worked on the tomatoes. ummm the berries and strawberries never seem to make it to the refrigerator or the blender everyone has been just eating them right off the bush. Sooo That makes me know I need to plant a lil more so  I will be able to get some to put up.Have a blessed Day and  HAPPY PLANTING....PEACE

Time to move the little transplants into their new home?

                                                 Some of these are coming in fast

 And some are taking there time ? looks a little dry when I bring them under the hoop house ,
en Sha Allah Ill give them some water

                           okay Also found a fan to put in the window when I make it...lol..great

 I think They will like it under here ? this way they wont be expose to the direct sunlight

 This was my broccoli that went to seed I cut off the seeds and took off some of the leaves
and potted and brought them into the hoop house to see what happens? will they give me some more broccoli... I love broccoli that's my favorite vegetable...

                                   So For back up I have planted a whole lot more...lol....

 The string beans are doing great  forgot to take a close up picture but got about a hand full off                                    of  here  today, will put them up until I get some more.

 Egg Plant  um I guess these will be ready by the end of the month cant wait I have learned how                                    to  make an egg plant burger and boy are they good ..lol

Okay got every thing that's started so far under the tent, and here's a picture of how we dug up the side of the tent and buried the plastic ,so I wont have to go on a plastic chase this year.lol...lol
 It looks  a lil crude.
 En Sha Allah Think I will plant some flowers along the sides to attract the bees and lady bugs.
This was a great Idea. Thank you sister  Janette and thank Your husband also.
We did it...lol...lol.
 Oh and I thank all the  Beautiful Children!!! for helping . Peace. lets go pick something...lol...

                                                   Getting quite a few cucumbers

                                    This guy can grow a little more wont bother this one

                   I'm so thank full I thought my squash was dead, but there still bearing Thank Allah

                                Still see a little brow but En Sha Allah I Will keep fighting...lol

 Tomatoes everywhere !!! in the fridge? in the window , and on my table and here's some more
OK I get the hint? better do something with them so they don't waste, to many is getting red at one time.

Then the res so many green ones left on all the vines? And if I wait until there all red at the same time it will be over whelming, Think its time for a Sister to get busy...See you again soon.

Thank You God for our first real little harvest , think we have enough to begin doing some Canning.

                                                   Picked some cucumbers and squash

              will add this to whats already in the refrigerator and will have enough to begin  canning

                                       Wow the tomatoes look good and their nice and sweet

            Have to put the string beans in the fridge theirs not enough yet to do anything with.  

                                Well, Thank You God for my first little harvest...lol....lol..

I have so many onions and they keep coming , I have freezed them, dried them, and gave them away.
lol...lol... Allah is so merciful,  Ill use these and the peppers to can this evening.  OK getting ready to do the first canning for the year,see you there peace.

We had a chance to do a little art also

              How are you I'm Corey and I had a chance to work out in the Art room

                                                               This is my little Sister Jazmyn

                   I'm Making a pocket book the straps are hanging down the back and Sister Theresa
                                     is going to show me how to out line it and sew it together

                            OK  were.getting ready to help Sister put  the plastic on the hoop house

                                                         Were almost finished

This is what it looked like when we first started, we had to put on the wood frame to hold the plastic.                       And we made a window on one end, and a door on the other.

                            We screwed the wood to the PVC and stapled the plastic to the wood

                      Then we buried both sides of the plastic under the  dirt, It turned out great.

It came out really well!!! All praises due to Allah. All we have to do now is make the door and window

Where not in such a hurry to do this since its so hot, and the air under there is needed right now.Where going now to put the vegetables that were trying to start under there so they wont get so hot. See you in the next blog. Peace

We had a blast THIS YEAR AND LEARED A LOT. we have to do this again next year

                                      
      We helped  pick vegetable's, and we ate all  the fruit w cold fine lol,,, the strawberries and raspberries and bleuberries

                                      AS you will see I make up for it in this post...lol...lol

                                 Sister turned us lose in her art room ,to let our creativity flow

 And I made me a Lil house with a Bird on the top a bee down by the door and some mushrooms

                              She taught my sister how to make a skirt and a pocket book

                                                          Yes we are enjoying ourselves

 IMO Cory driving!!!! came to pick them up. The boys are staying next door at Cynthia's house
                                                    So we can all have our own beds

                                          Check it out!!! I already have my drivers lean, lol..lol.

                                                    When were not in the pool

                                                        Or Driving all over the property

                                               Or eating all the fruit we can fine that's ripe?

                   Wait!! Wait!!! I have been trying to make them let me drive this thing?
                                         how come only the big ones can drive?

                                  I just don't understand it, I say, just don't understand it!!!!!

                                        Well, I loved it here and sorry its almost time to go

                                            I really enjoyed learning and  helping nd all the fesh vegggies and fruit

                                    Before we left we helped her pick everything that was ready

                                           Oh don't look for these they didn't make it...lol..lol

                                       And we helped her plant the next session to come

             Last ,we helped Sister put up here wood on the hoop house, to add the plastic too

                             And make a door frame, and Corey moved all of her pallet's closer

We have to go home now?

                             Sure was a nice visit, and nice to meet you!!!! see you next year!!!
